WHAT DOES KORNIK’ OFFER?

Fine Arts :

Kornik offers Basic and Certificate course, Junior diploma, Senior diploma and Specialization in Fine arts right from preliminary to seventh year .

Hobby Course :

Hobby course is a three / six months course constituting exclusive features like fabric painting, clay modeling, oil painting, metal curving, glass painting, deco pot, batik print, tie and dye, silk screen printing, wood craft, thermocol work and other modern work based on art and craft ( approx. 22 courses)

Preparation for Designing Courses :

Preparation of creative ability, knowledge for the courses of designing as graphics, fashion, industrial, craft, textile, and animation etc.

  • What are the pre-requisites for joining Kornik?

    The major pre-requisites are interest, dedication and drawing talent. Apart from this, any one over five years of age is eligible to apply. Extra ordinary talents are exception to rule.

  • Can I finish my course in a shorter period?

    The students who are already proved to have excellent skills are not required to go through the full course. The main curriculum will be shortened to the extent of their skills and aptitude, to be decided upon interaction between the student and trainer.

  • How will I be evaluated?

    Evolution at Kornik is a continuous process. The aim of evaluation is not to reject but to enable the students to become aware of his / her strength or weakness and thereby help help him / her to take steps to improve. Theory and practical examinations will be held at the end of each session and results will be awarded by Bangiya Sangeet Parishad ( West Bengal ).

  • Does Kornik provide any facilities to poor and handicapped students?

    Certainly I Kornik not only grants scholarship to poor students, it also sponsors total expense to train handicapped students till the completion of the entire syllabus. Not only this, Kornik announces fee concession to the winners competitive events conducted by Kornik.

  • How and When to Apply?

    The students interested in the courses can fill the forms available in the office. Admission for Hobby course are open through – out the year but for Fine arts it is from April till end of June every year.
