This very word ‘KORNIK’ in Sanskrit means an instrument to smoothen the rough surface and give an aesthetic touch. No other organization or institution has taken the responsibility of promoting such psycho-sensible creative issue ever before at Deoghar. Thus, KORNIK a justify the christening of name by introducing Art for Art sake of the society.
Kornik offers a wide range of courses such as painting, sculpture, photography, music, dance and theatre. The school also provides various workshops and seminars for its students which help them gain more knowledge about the subject matter.
Kornik also organizes various cultural events such as music concerts, dance performances, theatre shows etc., which help promote art and culture among the people of Deoghar. The school also organizes exhibitions where artists from all over India come together to showcase their work. Kornik is committed towards promoting art and culture and strives to create an atmosphere where creativity can flourish without any hindrance or discrimination based on caste or religion.

With the co-operation and support of the people, our funding agencies and sympathizers we are successfully going forward to fulfill our commitments to promote the various faculties of art and culture in the cultural town like Deoghar and places beyond Deoghar.
Our effort to strengthen the women group particularly in the backward areas so that they can equally participate in the social restricting mechanism through training.
We have taken the pain to spread the essence of art and culture from the Past thirty one years at Deoghar, made the people of every age group realize their dreams in terms of lines and colour on canvas.
We have organized and co ordinate many events, programmes and projects for Jharkhand Government, District administration and private sector.
